The National Economic Development Awards for Excellence recognises excellence within the sector, celebrating those organisations and individuals who are driving sustainable growth and community prosperity across Australia.
The gala event, always a highlight of NEDC is set to raise the bar even further in 2024. Guests will descend below the streets of Melbourne CBD to celebrate in one of the city’s most iconic venues, The Plaza Ballroom. This 1929 venue below the Regent Theatre, with its Spanish Rococo architecture will be an unforgettable backdrop for an evening celebrating excellence, innovation and leadership.
The National Awards for Excellence Gala is included in full registration.

Nominations have closed for the 2024 National Economic Development Awards for Excellence.
Securing a prestigious EDA award offers an excellent opportunity to highlight your innovative economic development projects and amplify recognition of your efforts.
Submissions are free, simple and open to all economic development practitioners in Australia. You are also welcome to enter multiple categories.
Submissions can be made for projects delivered from 1 January 2023 to 30 June 2024 (18-month period).
