NEDC24 will explore how place-based economic development enhances and leverages the physical, cultural and social identity of place, to help drive community prosperity, resilience and empowerment.
NEDC24 will feature recognised experts sharing key principles, frameworks, practical tools and insights informing how to develop and deliver authentic, impactful economic development strategies, with people and place at the centre.
The city of Melbourne (Naarm) on the traditional lands of the Kulin Nation will be the star of NEDC24 as we celebrate the Power of Place in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
As always, NEDC24 will feature unique networking events including a welcome function in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD at the funky Bourke Street Green and the National Economic Development Awards for Excellence Gala at one of the cities most iconic venues, the historic Plaza Ballroom.
NEDC24 is the flagship event of Economic Development Australia (EDA), the national peak body for economic development professionals; building capacity, promoting excellence and providing leadership on issues that matter to our members.
