The 2023 National Economic Development Awards for Excellence will be a truly unique and unforgettable experience, as we gather on the traditional land of the Ngarluma people, in the historic ghost town of Cossack on the evening of Wednesday August 23.

Situated at the mouth of the Harding River, Cossack is the stunning shoreline venue for a night of celebration as we recognise the national economic development award finalists and winners from across Australia. The evening will also shine a spotlight on EDA members who have achieved recognition as Australian Certified Economic Developers (ACEcD) this year.

To add to the magic, the evening will feature one of Australia’s most renowned Drag Queens, Dean Misdale. Dean is a multi-award-winning artist having won Entertainer of the Year at the 2019 Proud Awards and the award for Best Cabaret & Variety Show at Fringe World 2022. Featured widely on television in and out of drag, Dean will be a familiar face to many delegates (in particular any Adele fans!).

Join us for an unforgettable night of celebration and entertainment in a truly unique location!

The National Economic Development Awards is included in full registration for the National Economic Development Conference. Additional tickets can be purchased for $220.
